I will be talking about the end of the world. There are a lot of theories about how the end will come. I believe that it will happen by what we do, like if we stop stealing from the earth we may be able to drag out our ending by decades or centuries. I also think that it “will” happen in long run weather we do anything or not. Because of how we live and how greed is a major factor in it because nobody wants to slow down on their profit of what they are selling so the world will stay on the same path that it is on right now. So cutting back on our buying and selling may buy us a little bit of time but not much. I think that the world will end because it has ended in the past many times. Why should it stop its cycle because of us? The answer is that it won’t it will continue now and long after we are gone.
Through out history there have been some bad natural disasters but here are some of the worst natural disasters in history. An Aleppo Earthquake hit Syria in 1138 there were 230,000 deaths in the Indian Ocean an Earthquake/Tsunami took place in 2004 and another 230,000 were killed. In china a Haiyun Earthquake hit in 1920, 240,000 dead, also in china in 1556 a Shaanxi Earthquake is the deadliest earthquake on record it hit and approximately 830,000 died. Bangladesh cyclone was the deadliest tropical cyclone ever recorded 1970 up to 500,000 people lost their lives. In 1839 the India cyclone struck near Coringa more then 300,000 people dead. As you see the earth is taking its toll on us and I believe that it is sending us a sign. So we have to stop killing ourselves Mother Nature doesn’t need help.
In 1945 Robert Oppenheimer made the first nuclear bomb and later that year it was used on Japan about 66,000 people died. We are also making and dumping toxic waste all over the planet for example Monsanto for nearly 40 years was dumping toxic waste into the Anniston creek and was covering it up even after they found the fish had died .We are not only killing ourselves but the creatures that we share this planet with. The oil spill in Louisiana more then 8,000 birds, 1,000 sea turtles and 100 dolphins and whales were visibly oiled or dead according to http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2011/04/20/earlyshow/contributors/debbyeturner/main20055655.shtml, AKA the early show. Hunting is also a big thing around the U.S. More then 100 million animals are reported killed by hunters each year.
So basically with NASA they just disagree with the whole 2012 theory about the end of the world and they say that it is just another Y2K scare. But NASA has their own look on the end of the world they predict that it will end in 2013 and we will be hit by a barrage of solar flares. Dr.Richard Fisher, head of NASA’s heliophysics division says “we know it’s coming but just don’t know how bad its going to be”. But where do they get this idea for 2013 being the end of the world? NASA is convinced that that there will be a solar storm or even a series of solar storms in 2013. There are reports of something similar that happened in 1859 a huge solar storm burned out telegraph wires across Europe and the united states.
Dr. Stuart Clark wrote a book called “the sun kings” in that book he stated “some two-thirds of the earths skies in blood-red aurora a night later, and crippled all of global navigation and global communication, such as it was at the time. Compasses span uselessly and the telegraph network went down as phantom electricity surged through the wire.”
Dr. Richard Fisher, head of NASA’s heliophysics division says, “the sun is waking up from a deep slumber, and in the next few years we expect to see much higher levels of solar activity. At the same time, our technological society has developed an unprecedented sensitivity to solar storms. The interception of these two issues is what we’re getting together to discuss.” He also said in an interview with the daily telegraph “It will disrupt the communication devices such as satellites and car navigation, air travel, the banking system, our computers, everything that is electronic. It will cause major problems for the world. Large areas will be without electricity power and to repair that damage will be hard as that takes time.” Dr. Fisher also added “Systems will just not work. The flares change the magnetic field on the earth that is rapid and like a lightning bolt. That is the solar affect.”
